"Seeing how my TCM treatment has transformed countless patients including my own sister is a humbling experience. Hence, I want to share this with as many as I can, to help them reach their dreams and potentials."     

Dr. Ellen Lee is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Certified Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She trained in Western and Chinese Medicine, and worked in public hospital in Shanghai. 

She graduated in 2011 and holds a Postgraduate degree with Honours and full scholarship from one of the best universities that specialises in Traditional Chinese Medicine - Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (上海中医药大学). She is also certified and trained as  Medical Doctor (Western Medicine) and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) doctor in China. 

She has extensive research experience and has published two thesis recognised by SCI (Science Citation Index) regarding her extensive scientific research on Chronic Kidney Disease.

She has had a wide range of experience treating hundreds of patients per day in hospitals which includes:

  • Neurological Disorder: trained by Professor Ming qing Zhu (the original founder of Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture, one of four scalp acupuncture systems known in China since 1984). She has very special interest in Neurological disease as her own sister suffered Cerebral Palsy.

  • Gynecology: trained by Professor Cai Wen Wang (Yueyang Hospital - one of the most established hospitals that specialized in integrated Gynecology and Acupuncture) ; she gain invaluable experience in treating issues relating to women’s health such as infertility, irregular periods, menopause, menstrual pain and IVF support, etc). 

  • Nephrology: trained by Professor Chen Wang (Shuguang Hospital - one of the best modern hospitals with integrated Western and TCM treatment), managed the treatment of a ward in Nephrology department. Key achievements: harnessing modern science (ultrasound, blood-tests) and maximising synergies between Western and Chinese medicine treatments to optimise results. 

  • Cosmetic Acupuncture: highly skilled in skin rejuvenation with combining traditional acupuncture with AMTS (automatic micro needle theraphy system). She has helped numerous patients with achieving more vibrant and youthful skin. Generally, feel the difference after first consultation.

  • Other remedies include: Hay-fever, Liver disease, Pain-management, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Weight-loss, Anxiety, Allergies, Insomnia, etc.

Ellen's background:

She was born and raised in South Korea. Her sister suffered Cerebral Palsy, after many times of surgeries she had been suffering with pain and other side-effects. After completion of high school, Ellen followed her family to live in Shanghai (China) when her father moved there for work. She chose to study TCM as China has had the best universities that has had a long history in TCM research and education.

 

She was able to greatly alleviate her sister's unexplained sufferings through acupuncture and herbal medicine. It inspired her to expand her knowledge and skills so she can help treat more people. 

Through the combination of Western and Chinese Medicine training, she is skilled with using different methods that is completely tailored to each person to maximise treatment results.

She keeps up-to-date with researching the latest studies, and she also spends weeks in China every year to undertake intensive clinical training on various new TCM treatments in order to widen her knowledge and skills.

She is a mother of two energetic kids, she enjoys beach time with her family. She is professional, very patient, warm  and caring.
