Cosmetic acupuncture offers holistic treatments that enhance your appearance naturally, without the risks associated with surgery and cosmetic injections. Dr Ellen Lee trained in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture from South Korea - the HUB of cosmetic/beauty treatment using the most advanced techniques and skills-, which is a painless and non-surgical method of reducing the signs of the aging process. It is a rejuvenation and revitalization process designed to help the whole body look and feel younger.

"Reverse the signs of aging naturally."
How and why it works ?

Facial acupuncture is a natural alternative to invasive anti-aging procedures and chemicals. It uses fine-gauge needles placed in specific “problem” areas on the face, such as frown lines, crow’s feet, mouth lines, and jowls. When the needles are injected, they create tiny traumas to the skin, which trigger a physiological reaction that sends increased circulation and collagen to the “wounded’’ area.

Collagen is the main protein in our bodies, and is what makes our skin, bones, and cartilage strong and elastic. As we age, our collagen production decreases, which is why we see the structural integrity of our skin (and everything else) decline. So when the body sends these small amounts of collagen to “heal” these minuscule puncture wounds, the skin will begin to appear smoother, fuller, and brighter.

Because each patient is different, we recommend anywhere from 8 to 10 treatments, administered once or twice a week. Results will depend on the age, health, and lifestyle of the patient, but may be seen as early as the first treatment, though patients will usually see improvement in their appearance around the seventh treatment.
How many sessions before noticing improvement?

A complete course of treatment is 10 sessions, twice a week, over a 5 week period. Visible improvements are usually seen at session 6 or 7. A supplement of herbal remedies, recommended skin care and healthy lifestyle are suggested for optimal results. On average, most patients see a 3 to 5 ( on average ) year difference after a completed course of treatment.

Please note that any treatments such as Botox and dermal fillers will need to be announced at the initial treatment session.
